Bonnie Krupa - CPDT

Bonnie is the head trainer at Happy, Clean & Smart and has been training dogs since 2004. She currently owns three rescue dogs and 3 cats. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and is a strong believer in professional development. She attends national conferences, workshops and presentations in order to learn the most recent training methods and successful training strategies.

Bonnie is a professional member of the following organizations

• IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals)
• AKC-American Kennel Club (Member and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator)
• TDI Therapy Dog International (Member and Evaluator)
• IAABC-Affiliate member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants
• Pet First Aid Instructor through Pet Tech International 

Bonnie is a certified evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen Test and Therapy Dog International Certification.

She also trains dogs with the CHANCE program which she developed at the New Castle Correctional Facility. CHANCE stands for Canine Handlers Achieving a New Career Education. Dogs from the New Castle Animal Shelter are paired up with inmates at the correctional facility and trained for 12 weeks and then adopted out to the public . the dogs are altered, up to date on shots and trained. The program is a win win win situation for all involved. The program began in June of 2005 and to date we have adopted out over 30 dogs.
