Potty Training, pt. 2

I have a 4 month old bichon and we are still having issues with potty training. We have a crate that she sleeps in at night with no accidents but often during the day we will let her out and as soon as she comes in she'll potty on the floor. Please Help!!!

My first thought on this is that there is a lack of supervision. I would use the crate not only when you are away or sleeping but also when you cannot properly supervise your dog. Try using it more as a playpen for your puppy rather than isolation from you. Another important step is to be sure that if you take her outside and she doesn't eliminate to be sure that when you come back in she is either in a crate or supervised at all times. Then wait about 15 minutes and try taking her out again. Repeat if necessary. Do you have a particular spot in the yard that you have designated as a potty area?
